TE ARATAKI
Positive system change & value across the quadruple bottom line
Te Arataki seeks to support local values, vision, and practice to inspire collective action; local activation inspired by collective inspiration.
We provide a “blueprint” for place-based integrated planning that helps agribusinesses, communities, and local authorities realise their place-based aspirations. We are weaving whānau, community, and whenua together with a shared sense of purpose, understanding, and vision for the future.

Together we can achieve
Significant farm change; and
Significant sub/catchment change

OUR PLANNING APPROACH
Te Arataki delivers practical integrated plans at farm level, which collectively contribute to a single catchment sustainability plan.
We use collaborative approaches based on co-innovation and co-creation to facilitate effective engagement amongst science, mātauranga Māori, professional farming, and local knowledge.
Te Arataki is a blueprint for effective place-based planning projects that accommodate equally Māori, agribusiness, community, industry, and Local Government values and perspectives.

We support:

Well-being and Vibrant Communities
-
Farming resilience and Future-proofing
-
Whole of farm – Whole of whenua thinking (holistic)
-
Community-led vision and values for the local catchments
We are creating farm planning pathways for the long-term.
